UAS Acquires Henkel

Uniroyal Adhesives & Sealants (UAS), an operating unit of Uniroyal Technology Corp, has acquired the Henkel Adhesives solvent-based industrial adhesive business (based in Elgin IL) for an undisclosed sum. The business will be consolidated into UAS' 240,000-square-foot South Bend IN plant during first-quarter 2001.
