INTTRA Inc, provider of business-to-business (B2B) ocean freight services, announced that Elite International Transportation Inc has joined its global logistics network.

Elite has deployed INTTRA-Act, a B2B Web-hosted portal system that standardizes and supports door-to-door ocean transport services for customers that book with one or more carriers. Elite is also using INTTRA-Link, designed to provide shipping and logistics information to larger companies by interfacing directly through their Enterprise Resource Planning or supply chain systems.

The company plans to use INTTRA systems in collaboration with its business practices including freight forwarding, customs brokerage, and non-vessel operating common carrier services. Of the more than 600 global freight forwarders registered with INTTRA, Elite is the first United States-based freight forwarder to use INTTRA-Link.
