Marten Transport Ltd, a Mondovi WI-based temperature-sensitive truckload carrier, has completed its public offering of 3,000,000 shares of its common stock at $20.50 per share. Of these shares, 2,475,000 shares were sold by the firm and 525,000 shares were sold by the selling stockholders, including 375,000 shares by Randolph Marten, chairman and president, and 150,000 by Christine Marten, a director of the company.
The offering generated net proceeds of about $47.8 million for the company, after deducting underwriting discounts and other estimated expenses.
