Saddle Creek to open Del Monte centers

Del Monte Foods has chosen Saddle Creek Corp, a warehousing, transportation, contract packaging, and logistics provider, to open two facilities.

Del Monte Foods has chosen Saddle Creek Corp, a warehousing, transportation, contract packaging, and logistics provider, to open two facilities. These operations, in Atlanta GA and Fort Worth TX, will consolidate distribution of Del Monte's business units.

Saddle Creek operates 2.48 million square feet in the Atlanta area. Located 10 miles southwest of the Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport, the new Atlanta operation is 780,000 square feet and will employ a staff of more than 80.

Eight miles north of Fort Worth in the Railhead Distribution Complex, the 680,000-sq-ft Fort Worth facility will employ more than 70. Saddle Creek currently operates 1.6 million square feet in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
