PTDI certifies truck driver training schools

Three new schools have joined the ranks of schools nationwide and throughout Canada offering Professional Truck Driver Institute (PTDI)-certified truck

Three new schools have joined the ranks of schools nationwide and throughout Canada offering Professional Truck Driver Institute (PTDI)-certified truck driver training courses, and another eight have received recertification, the PTDI Certification Commission announced at its December 2001 meeting.

Schools receiving initial PTDI course certification are Big Rig Truck Driving School Inc, Canton OH; Crete Carrier Corp, Lincoln NE; and Professional Driver Institute, Batavia NY.

Courses at these eight schools were recertified: Center for Employment Education, Anchorage AK; Central Tech Transportation & Safety Education, Drumright OK; John Wood Community College, Quincy IL; ProDrive of Maine, Scarborough ME; SAGE Technical Services, Billings MT; Southern Missouri Truck Driving School, Malden MO; Western Pacific Truck School, Everett WA; and Western Pacific Truck School of Oregon, Portland OR.
