Heavens' Bistro Inc, the Santa Monica CA-based producer of low-fat frozen foods, announced that Austin TX entrepreneur Mark Stryker is taking over as chief executive officer. The company will relocate its executive and administrative operations to Austin during first-quarter 2004.

Stryker, 35, was the CEO of CyBerBroker, the online brokerage unit of Austin-based CyBerCorp Inc, from 1997 through 2000. CyBerCorp and the brokerage unit were acquired by The Charles Schwab Corp in March 2000 for $488 million. During his tenure with CyBerCorp, brokerage revenues grew from zero to more than $120 million per year.

A shareholder and director of Heavens' Bistro since March 2001, Stryker says the company could hire as many as a dozen employees in Austin, depending on the company's growth.

Heavens' Bistro makes low-fat frozen pizzas sold in 600 stores nationwide, including Super Target stores, Trader Joe's, and The Fresh Market.
