Goodyear is changing the name of Goodyear Retread Systems to Next-Tred, Innovative Retreading Solutions, to indicate medium-truck tire service provided beyond the life of the original tread. The Next-Tred logo has the company's wingfoot symbol nestled in between the two words.

Goodyear currently has 167 medium-truck tire retreading centers in the United States and Canada, and another five off-the-road tire retreading facilities. Several other retreaders have expressed interest in converting to Next-Tred facilities in the coming year.
