Jerry Arthur Bates, a well-known and highly-regarded trucking industry advertising sales and marketing professional, died April 21 after losing his battle with a blood disease.
Jerry Arthur Bates, a well-known and highly-regarded trucking industry advertising sales and marketing professional, died April 21 after losing his battle with a blood disease. Jerry, who was 50 years old, was buried in his hometown of Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
Jerry worked for a number of trucking industry publications, before founding his own company, Bates Media. The company specializes in trucking media. He also became an authority on recruiting qualified drivers and owner operators.
