Dana Corp's Commercial Vehicle Systems (CVS) has announced expanded ratio coverage for one of its newest families of single drive axles. The new Dana Spicer S190 series is now offered with a 2.53 ratio, designed to maximize fuel efficiency with the newer generation of emissions-friendly engines that operate best at lower rpms.

To meet various vehicle configurations, the S190 series drive axle is available with 22 different ratios. Users may now choose between ratios ranging from 2.53 to 7.83.
