ACR Systems has added the JR-1000 temperature recorder to its product line. When this self-contained electronic recording device is connected to a Windows-based computer, readings can be viewed as raw data or graphs.
Weighing 35 grams, the JR-1000 is suitable for confined settings or inconspicuous use, and can be mounted on walls or other surfaces. The data logger has a range of -40° to 85°C (-40° to 185°F), and is accurate to ±0.2° at 25°C (±0.3° at 77°F).
The JR-1000 also offers various options. Samples can be made at intervals ranging from eight seconds to 34 minutes. Users can also set the start time for sampling, the data logger's behavior when its memory is full, and whether to take spot or average readings.
Housed in a polyurethane case, the JR-1000 runs off its own 3.6-volt lithium battery. The battery comes with a five-year warranty, and the data logger itself with a three-year warranty.
This temperature recorder also comes with TrendReader Express, ACR's Windows-based software for viewing data logger readings in charts and graphs. The JR-1001, a temperature recorder for use in hazardous conditions with flammable and combustible liquids, dust, or compressed gases, is also offered.
