J J Keller & Associates Inc has introduced the Straight Trucks and Vans Training Kit to help instruct drivers of straight trucks and vans on how to avoid injury, accidents, and breakdowns. Training materials cover topics from how to avoid a rollover and how to drive in the city to customer relations and cargo handling. A five-minute bonus program covering extreme driving conditions also is included.

The kit contains two videotapes: Vehicle Inspections (11 minutes), which leads drivers through an inspection of their vehicle and its systems; and Driving Techniques (23 minutes), which covers safe driving techniques and emergency maneuvers. Also included are an instructor's guide; 10 driver handbooks; a training log; vehicle inspection reports (DVIRs); an inspection chart; inspection memory cards; and safety awareness posters.
