Goodwill Industries of Houston TX received a donated GC25K Caterpillar lift truck from Cat Financial Services in cooperation with Mustang Tractor & Equipment Co and Mitsubishi Caterpillar Forklift America Inc (MCFA). The lift truck was needed to move donated items throughout Goodwill Industries of Houston's warehouse.

The organization's Donated Goods Program handles collection and processing of all donated material from its 30 attended donation centers for distribution and sale at its 15 retail stores around Houston. Before receiving the lift truck, most materials were distributed manually throughout the central warehouse.

“Last year, approximately 10.5 million pounds of materials were collected from public donations in Houston alone, which in turn yielded $9.4 million in revenue,” said Gregory D Cox, Goodwill Industries of Houston vice-president/chief operating officer.
