Sunco Carriers Inc of Lakeland FL, a subsidiary of Watkins Associated Industries, has purchased Rocor International's southeastern division, located in Forest Park GA.

Effective Feb 5, 2001, the sale allows Rocor to focus on its core competency of longer-haul interregional freight movements while providing an opportunity for Sunco to expand its area of operation throughout the southeastern United States.

Hunt Berryman, Sunco president, said annual revenues will exceed $55 million. Berryman also said the acquired business mirrors Sunco's current business and will give Sunco the capacity to expand its regional business model.
