Haldex Brake Systems has introduced a friction material specifically developed with fleets in mind. Grey-Rock GF2008-1 is designed for 20,000-lb GAWR applications where loads and use do not vary from haul to haul.

When used under these conditions, GF2008-1 will provide fleets with superior stopping power, consistent lining life, low sensitivity to speed, high friction stability, and excellent performance when coupled with antilock braking systems. Additionally, low thermal expansion (swell) provides an excellent material to be used with automatic brake adjusters.
