Online transportation services provider efleetmgmt inc is offering companies a driver identification and training program that it said will help reduce the number of trucking accidents and the costs that result.

Virtual Fleet Risk Manager (VFRM) is an online program from efleetmgmt partner Interactive Driving Systems (IDS) that aims to help companies create a “crash-free culture,” according to Ed Dubens, president of IDS.

Lisa Deyo, president of efleetmgmt, said the program is ideal for any fleet, regardless of size, industry, or location.

The program screens for at-risk drivers through online questionnaires that probe attitude and behavior and delivers the latest in behavioral modification training to help drivers identify emotional triggers that impact their road performance.

VFRM also provides a management information system to help companies track their progress in improving driver competence and fleet safety, efleetmgmt said.
