Next Generation Logistics Inc (NGL) has extended its technology systems. NEXTrack enables carriers to provide appointment scheduling and status messages, and shippers to allow customers to track shipments in real time using Internet connection.

NGL realized many cost-efficient carriers don't have EDI capabilities to provide real-time information and now offers an alternative in exchanging information in real time. Within NEXTrack, carriers will have access to view all loads tendered to them, enter appointment times, and load status updates, and access to other loads posted for bid.

Shippers, on the other hand, can now provide access to customers to view and track their orders, which can minimize the fielding of phone calls and increase customer service levels.
