New collaboration helps small carriers, owner-operators stay in compliance with state, federal rules, regulations, companies say

DAT Freight & Analytics recently partnered with CleanFleet to offer drug testing compliance services for truck fleets and owner-operators in what the company says is a response to a growing need and requests from DAT customers.

CleanFleet provides immediate proof of compliance with federal regulations and enrollment in the U.S. FMCSA Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse, as well as a full range of screening and program management services.

“Our mission is to save lives and protect assets,” said Brian Gray, CEO of CleanFleet. “We accomplish this by assisting employers with their hiring and maintaining a safe, qualified workforce within the transportation industry.

“We are excited to build upon our mission by partnering with DAT.”

With fleets now recruiting more drivers in direct response to increased trucking demand, CleanFleet’s drug testing services are ideal for small carriers and owner-operators who want assurance that their businesses are in full compliance with state and federal rules and regulations, DAT said.

“Not only is CleanFleet an excellent addition to DAT’s lineup of fleet services, it is partner that shares our approach to helping create a safe and compliant industry,” said Sarah Allen, DAT’s partnerships manager.

CleanFleet partners with more than 5,000 collection sites across the U.S. Each site follows the same set of chain-of-custody and reporting procedures to protect the integrity of the testing process, driver privacy and the accuracy of the results.
