Excargo Services Inc has opened its new container terminal at 601 Foreman Road on Williams Drive in Orange TX. The terminal serves businesses throughout Southeast Texas and western Louisiana that rely on strategically located storage of oceangoing shipping containers and efficient movement of time-sensitive, high-value cargo between companies, ports, and rail terminals in the region.

Marcia Faschingbauer, president and founder of Excargo, said, “From our base in Houston, we transport more than 25,000 containers per year across the South. This new satellite location in Orange benefits the regional business community by helping it take full advantage of the area’s proximity to port and rail terminals.

“We haul temperature-controlled containers, from frozen to refrigerated, and have had that expertise for two decades,” she said. “Currently, we have electric plugs on our Houston terminal to hold containers and provide a personal monitoring service to our customers. We can easily expand that holding and monitoring service into the Golden Triangle. Many drayage firms shy from handling temperature-controlled containers, but Excargo specializes in handling service-sensitive cargo.”

The Orange terminal features three acres of fenced and lit container storage. It can accommodate 10,000 containers annually or more stacked.

Excargo has been draying goods to and from the Port of Houston and area rail terminals for international and intermodal shippers for more than 30 years. It also provides logistics and warehouse services for some of America’s most service-sensitive companies.
