Easyfresh Poland (Sealogistics) is heading the Gdansk Port Coldstore Project, a venture in coordination with local authorities, set for the Polish port city’s DCT (deepwater container terminal).

Once described as the Hanseatic granary of Europe, the historic city of Gdansk is a key port in the Baltic Sea region that has a promising future. Within the port area, the DCT has the capability and potential for expansion. Thanks to DCT/Gdansk’s qualities and surrounding community of intermodal transport companies, it is ideally positioned to serve the perishables industry.

A supportive facility (cold storage or refrigerated warehouse) would be appreciated by shippers and receivers of fresh and frozen cargoes that are using or willing to use DCT/Gdansk.

Subsequently, Easyfresh, guided by Dr Tomasz Kubicki, is heading the project to cover customer requirements and to support shipping lines, DCT, and all local players for a smooth development of fresh and frozen cargo flow.

Easyfresh Poland and the entire Easyfresh management favor the creation and operation of the Coldstore Project as a hub or platform for shipping lines. It would ease container equipment flows and reduce costs, add value to customer logistics and save money, and help customs authorities keep a correct record of goods and shipments.
