Henningsen acquires site, plans facility

Henningsen Cold Storage Co, a public refrigerated warehousing company based in Hillsboro OR, has acquired a vacant 14.51-acre site in Gresham OR and plans to build a new cold storage facility at the location.

Henningsen Cold Storage Co, a public refrigerated warehousing company based in Hillsboro OR, has acquired a vacant 14.51-acre site in Gresham OR and plans to build a new cold storage facility at the location.

The J Frank Schmidt Family Charitable Foundation sold the land to Henningsen for $3.7 million, or a total of around $255,000 an acre. Details on development plans have not yet been disclosed.

Henningsen provides more than 37 million cubic feet of frozen and refrigerated warehousing space and has locations in Oregon, Washington, Idaho, North Dakota, Oklahoma, and Pennsylvania.
