Lineage Logistics, a warehousing and logistics company sponsored by Bay Grove Capital LLC, will begin construction of Agua Mansa, a new multi-use cold storage warehouse in Colton CA.

Lineage Logistics, a warehousing and logistics company sponsored by Bay Grove Capital LLC, announced that it will begin construction of Agua Mansa, a new 420,000-square-foot multi-use cold storage warehouse in Colton CA.

Construction will begin at the site at 2063 West Miguel Bustamante Parkway during summer 2013 and is expected to be open to customers by May 2014.

Located between the Interstate 10 and 60 freeways in the Inland Empire, the 37.5-acre Agua Mansa site will feature 130 loading dock doors and more than 390 additional trailer parking positions for convenient trucking access. The facility provides a refrigerated crossdock area as well as convertible freezer space with temperatures ranging from –20 degrees F to +50 degrees F. The additional 40,000 total pallet perishable positions will provide Southern California with the necessary capacity to meet the region’s growing demand.

This new facility will be the second cold storage facility the company plans to open in the region in 2014. Late in 2012, Lineage announced the start of a new cold storage construction project in the Port of Long Beach that will accommodate 30,000 pallet positions at a port side location serving the Los Angeles market and import/export markets.

Bill Hendricksen, chief executive officer of Lineage, said, “The Agua Mansa project will enable Lineage to continue growing with our existing and new customers to meet their developing requirements while creating new jobs for the local economy.”

Lineage Logistics is the second-largest temperature-controlled warehousing and logistics company in the world. It serves the nation’s food, retail, agriculture, and distribution companies. Visit www.lineagelogistics.com to learn more.
