June 27, 2013

International Telematics Corporation (ITC) and Kelle’s Transport Service of Salt Lake City UT were recognized at the recent annual Connected World Conference Value Chain Awards, receiving an award in the Transportation section.

“We’re focused on providing added-value, superior returns for our customers, and we are delighted that our telematics platform has been acknowledged for that by industry,” said Craig Marris, president of ITC’s North American operations.

Kelle’s Transport Service use ITC’s award-winning ibright platform to ensure temperature-sensitive product is delivered safely and securely to customers throughout North America.

“Our telematics technology provides visibility and virtual control of therefrigerated equipment that controls temperature,” said Marris. “Using ibright, Kelle’s Transport Service knows where their loads are in real-time and are immediately alerted when there is potential mechanical failure, or if temperature goes beyond the acceptable range set for the load.”

Kelle’s Transport Service has more than 300 refrigerated trailers servicing the North American market and is a leader in the adoption of smart technology.

“We believe that working with leading vendors such as International Telematics gives our customers huge confidence that their deliveries are safe, secure, and will arrive in premium condition,” said Kelle Simon, president and chief executive officer of Kelle’s Transport Service.
