To manage a dramatic increase in customer demand, temperature-controlled transportation and logistics services provider Kool Pak LLC announced the expansion of its West Coast services through an agreement with Sierra Pacific in Patterson CA.
By partnering, Kool Pak now offers an allocated capacity of 20,000 square feet of both chilled and frozen storage.
Headed by operations manager Blake McClearn, Kool Pak provides freezer, cooler, and dry storage services; blast freezing; cross-docking; consolidation; and redelivery services on a daily basis from the Northern California facility.
“As with all of our West Coast facilities, we feature temperature-controlled docks to protect our clients’ products through the entire distribution channel,” said McClearn.
Industry veteran Tim Layhee serves as business development manager for the Northern California market.
“With five locations, we now provide extended service levels for higher volumes of temperature-sensitive products along the entire West Coast, with our facilities in Ontario and Patterson, Portland, Seattle, and Langley, British Columbia,” said Layhee.
