With a resume that includes award-winning comedy writing and performing for “The Daily Show With Jon Stewart” and multiple appearances on “The Late, Late Show,” “Late Night with Conan O’Brien,” and others, Mercurio is famous for leaving a career as a Wall Street mergers-and-acquisitions lawyer and investment banker to pursue comedy full-time. He received the encouragement of Jay Leno, who had hired him to write jokes for “The Tonight Show” while he worked in the financial world.
Mercurio will poke fun at the business world, global events, and social and political trends and happenings. His closing keynote presentation will take place April 29 during the Closing General Session from 10 am to noon.
