Mountaineer to keynote IACSC Conference & Expo

The International Association for Cold Storage Construction (IACSC), a Core Partner of the Global Cold Chain Alliance (GCCA), announced that Chris Warner will keynote the 34th IACSC Conference & Expo.

This event will be held November 6-9, 2014 in Boca Raton FL. His address is entitled “High-Altitude Leadership.”
“We could not be more pleased to have Chris keynote our conference,” said Wade Hudson, IACSC chairman. “As one of America’s top mountaineers who has spent the past 30 years helping teams reach their summit, and a successful business leader who has dealt with the day-to-day challenges of growing a company in a tough economy, we believe Chris is uniquely qualified to arm attendees with tools needed to guide their own team to the next summit.”
Warner heads a team of 250 employees, spread over multiple locations, that serves more than 750,000 customers a year. He teaches leadership at the Wharton School of Business, to executives at Fortune 100 companies, and to covert and special operations teams in the US Intelligence and Defense Agencies. He specializes in teams that face challenges in which failure is not an option. Warner’s clients range from the Baltimore Ravens to Google to the National Counter Terrorism Task Force.
An author and an Emmy-nominated filmmaker, Warner has starred in television programs on ABC, NBC, and the History Channel. He is one of America’s most successful mountaineers, leading more than 200 international expeditions. He guided the first reality show on Mount Everest and safely led his team to the summit of K2, the world’s second-highest mountain.
The IACSC Conference & Expo annually draws construction, warehouse, and refrigeration engineering professionals from around the world to gain insight to improve their business.
