Thermo King is providing a series of technical learning programs for its customers. The theme of the series is “Risk Management — Keeping It Fresh from Farm to Fork,” and its goal is to communicate both correct and best practices. “Thermo King's customers can learn about how to properly protect cargo to minimize the risk of damage and/or spoilage throughout the cold chain,” said Phil Lee, Thermo King manager — regional training and digital media development.

Topics covered in the series include:

  • Module One: Loading Procedures

  • Module Two: Food Safety/HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points)

  • Module Three: Optional Products and Services That Support Risk Management

  • Module Four: Delivery Practices

  • Module Five: Application/Unit Selection

  • Module Six: Preventive Maintenance
