    Tendergrass recognizes Americold operation

    Company’s Farmers Produce business in Sanford, N.C., earns inaugural 3PL of the Year Award for exceptional service

    Tendergrass recently awarded its inaugural 3PL of the Year Award to Americold’s Farmers Produce business in Sanford N.C.

    The award goes to the third-party warehouse that provides the best service and highest customer service levels in support of Tendergrass and its customers.

    “The unique services that Americold provides through their Farmers business in Sanford are very important to Tendergrass,” said David Maren, president and CEO of Tendergrass. “We depend on many different cold storage facilities around the country, but the service and dedication of Chris Lough’s team in Sanford really stand out.”

    Tendergrass’ Ken Esser presented the crystal award trophy to Lough, Iesha McDougald, and Edwin Paulino, who accepted it on behalf of the entire team in Sanford.
