Global Cold Chain Alliance names temperature-controlled logistics provider a Top 20 Warehouse Operator

The Global Cold Chain Alliance (GCCA), which represents all major industries engaged in temperature-controlled warehousing, logistics and transportation, recently named Interstate Cold Storage (ICS) a Top 20 Warehouse Operator.

“All of us at Interstate Cold Storage are proud to be recognized as one of the largest cold-storage warehouse operators in North America,” Charles Betts, national sales manager, said in a news release. “With a large warehouse operating space comes a great responsibility to ensure our customers have reliable, dependable cold storage.

“We take this responsibility very seriously and continue to make outstanding customer service our top priority.”

ICS, established in 1973, offers more than 21.4 million sq. ft. in cold storage solutions. The family-owned company operates three facilities in Ohio, with two in Columbus and one in Napoleon, as well as two facilities in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

ICS’s services include cold storage, temporary storage, quick-freezing, space-guarantee programs, and more, including rail access.
