Westco picks Manhattan product suite
Canadian cold storage third-party logistics provider (3PL) Westco MultiTemp Distribution Centres Inc has selected systems from a product suite offered by Manhattan Associates to support two distribution centers in Calgary, Alberta, along with facilities in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan; and Winnipeg, Manitoba.
Westco selected the Warehouse Management, Labor Management, Billing Management, and Trading Partner Management systems from the Manhattan SCALE (Supply Chain Architected for Logistics Execution) portfolio, along with the Supply Chain Intelligence application to provide real-time visibility and insight into its supply chain performance.
“Our existing solution had limited capabilities which resulted in more costs as our business continued to grow,” said Daryn Chernick, manager, information technology, Westco MultiTemp Distribution Centres. “Manhattan’s solutions will help us improve our customer service as well as leverage our processes for future growth opportunities.”
