The Really Cool Food Company LLC and Renaissance Food Group LLC have announced a merger.

Renaissance Food Group will lead the sales and marketing team for the combined companies and will use a network of production facilities and distribution centers strategically located across the nation. The merger will combine the talents and proprietary technology of both companies and create a menu utilizing four brands: Garden Highway-Chef Essentials, Really Cool Foods, Garden Highway, and Kitchen 1836. By minimizing food miles with this new distribution network, retailers can offer a variety of fresher choices.

Established in February 2005, The Really Cool Food Co manufactures natural fresh prepared foods. A line of restaurant-quality products offer convenient meals with two brands: Really Cool Foods and RCF Kitchens. For more information, visit www.reallycoolfoods.com.

Renaissance Food Group produces cut fruit and cut vegetable products. The company has its headquarters in Sacramento CA and five production facilities throughout the United States.
