Americold, provider of temperature-controlled warehousing and logistics to the food industry, announced that its Henderson NV facility is the recipient of the Unilever 2013 Temperature Controlled Quality and Excellence Distribution Center of the Year Award. Americold previously received this honor in 2009 for its Sikeston MO facility.
“This award is a tribute to all of the Henderson employees who embody the Americold tradition, by going the extra mile to make sure that our customers are well taken care of,” said Ross Smith, general manager of the Americold Henderson distribution center.
Unilever presents this award annually to the frozen foods distribution center that demonstrates excellence in performance and customer service. The Americold Henderson facility has a capacity of 9.6 million cubic feet and employs 32 associates.
