Net earnings for Performance Food Group in the 2007 first quarter totaled about $6.9 million, an increase of 21% compared with the same quarter the year before.

Net earnings for Performance Food Group in the 2007 first quarter totaled about $6.9 million, an increase of 21% compared with the same quarter the year before.

Consolidated net sales in the 2007 first quarter were about $1.5 billion, an increase of around 4% versus the same quarter in 2006. Inflation was roughly 3% for the 2007 quarter.

PFG markets and distributes more than 68,000 national and private label food and food-related products to more than 41,000 restaurants, hotels, cafeterias, schools, healthcare facilities, and other institutions.
