Globalization and rising frozen/refrigerated food consumerism will drive much of the next decade's cold chain growth, according to the Global Cold Chain Logistics Report 2008-2009, co-published by the Global Cold Chain Alliance (GCCA) and Transport Intelligence (Ti).
GCCA and Ti combined their market intelligence resources to analyze and forecast cold chain development among mature and developing markets through 2020. Each sector of the cold chain, from processing to warehousing to transportation to retail, is assessed on a regional and global level.
