    Choptank Freight Lines LLC has been presented a Platinum award by Great Western Casualty Company as part of the 2011 National Safety Awards Program.

    This is the third year in a row that Choptank Freight Lines, which is based in Preston MD, has won a nationally recognized safety award.

    The National Safety Awards Program recognizes carriers in similar operations (truckload and less than truckload) with awards based on year-end preventable accident results. Carriers are eligible to receive a Platinum, Gold, Silver, or Participatory award. This past year, the program drew more than 625 participants from across the United States.

    Choptank Freight Lines is a subsidiary of Choptank Transport and is the asset-based division of the company. Choptank Transport is a nationwide, full-service logistics provider offering truckload, refrigerated, dry van, flatbed, and LTL transportation as well as warehousing and intermodal services.
