ASM acquires Pryority

Advantage Sales & Marketing LLC (ASM) has acquired Pryority Food Marketing Inc, a food brokerage company.

Advantage Sales & Marketing LLC (ASM) has acquired Pryority Food Marketing Inc, a food brokerage company focused on meat, deli, specialty cheese, seafood, frozen, and dairy clients. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

“Pryority has built an outstanding reputation as a key provider of retail sales services to clients and customers in the perishables industry,” said Tanya Domier, ASM chief executive officer. “The Pryority team brings decades of experience and relationships to ASM, thereby enhancing our perishables business and further cementing our position as a leader within this channel.”

Al Albano and Mike Sonberg, who previously were CEO and president, respectively, will lead the new business unit.
