The International Foodservice Distributors Association (IFDA) has published a new members only report, Non-Discrimination Obligations for Foodservice Distributors with Federal Contracts. It details the legal framework of the regulations, equal employment opportunity, and affirmative action obligations for federal contractors and subcontractors, compliance evaluations, and Internet applicant definitions.

The report is in response to the US Department of Labor's heightened enforcement activity of equal employment opportunity regulations and compliance.

The report also provides practical tips for surviving compliance reviews, discusses recordkeeping, and includes insights on important considerations in data analyses, applicant tracking, and use of employment tests. An affirmative action plan checklist and a sample conciliation agreement are provided in the appendices section of the report.
