MCT Transportation, a full truckload carrier of general commodities for products requiring refrigerated services and dry goods, has expanded operations to include a new West Coast produce division and new lanes of service.

"We’re now moving produce outbound of California, Arizona, Oregon, Washington, South Texas, Florida, and Georgia—basically, all of the growing states," said Chris Swain, MCT West Coast sales director.

To date, the new MCT Produce Division is trucking close to 100 loads each week from the West Coast and is still expanding. The company is working to hire more drivers for the division, as more and more customers are requesting teams on the West Coast, Swain said.
