Total Quality Logistics (TQL) has been named a finalist in the 2013 Best Places to Work Awards competition presented by the Tampa Bay Business Journal.

Finalists were chosen based on employee responses to an online survey conducted by an independent third party. TQL was evaluated on items such as team effectiveness, trust in senior leaders, feeling valued, manager effectiveness, and compensation and benefits.

“People are everything at TQL. The key to our company’s growth is attracting hard-working, ambitious individuals to this fast-paced, high-growth industry,” said Kerry Byrne, executive vice-president at the firm. “We do everything we can to support our people with extensive training, industry-leading technology, and rapid career development and leadership opportunities.”

TQL will nearly triple the workforce of its Tampa FL team in the next three years, adding close to 200 salespeople to its ranks.
