Choptank Transport, a full-service freight and logistics management company based in Preston MD, has introduced its new refrigerated less-than-truckload (LTL) freight division. The director of this division is local logistics veteran Wayne Hardee.

Truckload shippers that have relied on Choptank’s service for more than 25 years often need these additional LTL services. In response to this growing demand, Choptank’s new division will roll out in late spring and include nationwide outbound delivery with a concentration of consolidation capabilities from Massachusetts to Virginia in Phase I. Phase II will include extended Mid-Atlantic and Northeast regions.
