Sargento Cheese has presented the 2007 Core Carrier Award to Timon Perron Trucking. Criteria for the award include equipment, on-time deliveries, fewest number of OS&Ds (over, short, and damaged loads), and communication.

Based in Campbellsport WI, Perron Trucking was a strong partner in 2007, hauling 18.5 million pounds of Sargento cheese with an on-time delivery rate of 99.37%. This is the fourth time Perron Trucking has won the award, having also received this honor in 2001, 2002, and 2003.

“Achieving an award like this is something that can only be done with a combined group effort from drivers and office staff,” said Ike Perron, operations manager for Perron Trucking.

A refrigerated carrier specializing in multi-stop truckload, truckload, and LTL freight transportation, the firm has more than 25 years' experience as a partner for many shippers throughout the Midwest.
