England Logistics offers IES Forwarder suite

England Logistics Inc, provider of third-party logistics and freight forwarding services, has launched the entire suite of IES Forwarder products for users in North America and China.

England Logistics Inc, provider of third-party logistics and freight forwarding services, has launched the entire suite of IES Forwarder products for users in North America and China. IES Ltd provides a suite of import and export systems that serves freight forwarders, NVOCCs (Non-Vessel Operating Common Carriers), Custom house brokers, and other transportation intermediaries.

“Global Sourcing has experienced significant growth. This new system is necessary to support the continued growth expectations in international freight forwarding,” said Michelle Potter, England Logistics director, strategic development.

IES was chosen after a the review and analysis of many products. It was picked for its value in meeting England Logistics’ requirements for a single-source, process-driven freight forwarding product. The software is structured in an integrated, modular design that will allow England Logistics to increase efficiency and differentiate their service.

Jeff VanWagoner, England Logistics director, supply chain integration, said, “Implementing IES will allow England Logistics to define standardized processes for services, improve billing cycles, and provide management reporting for P&L (profit and loss) analysis.”

The 11th-largest non-asset based transportation provider, England Logistics offers services ranging from full truckload sourcing, dry and temperature-controlled LTL and parcel, special projects engineering, global sourcing, and complete supply chain engineering.
