    Transplace, a provider of transportation management services and logistics technology, has formed a partnership with LLamasoft that will integrate Transplace truckload benchmarking data into LLamasoft Supply Chain Guru software.

    The partnership will enable the companies to better provide real-time shipping data and supply chain design technology in order to optimize their transportation network and achieve cost savings.

    Via the partnership, Transplace will provide LLamasoft with benchmarking data and services based on the company’s capabilities in that area and its broad access to inbound and outbound rates. LLamasoft will provide Transplace with access to its network optimization software. Customers will benefit from this combination of data and technology by having access to greater visibility of current market rates and develop effective strategies for improving procurement activities.
