Harvest Meat Company expanding services
The Kansas City KS-based branch of Harvest Meat Company, a wholesale refrigerated distributor, is expanding its services to include routes into Oklahoma, Arkansas, Nebraska, and Iowa, along with continued service throughout the Kansas City market. In addition to LTL service, Harvest Meat also offers cross-dock services, redistribution programs, and refrigerated and frozen storage systems.
With corporate headquarters in San Diego CA, Harvest Meat delivers an array of packaged protein products to more than 4,000 retail and foodservice customers, including independent grocers, chain supermarkets, foodservice distributors, food manufacturers, and club stores. Products handled include beef, pork, poultry, seafood, veal, lamb, processed meats, and cheese categories.
The company has 400 employees, 140 trucks, and nine meat distribution centers nationwide with locations in Kansas City, San Diego CA, Portland OR, Sacramento CA, Los Angeles CA, Phoenix AZ, Denver CO, and Orlando FL as well as sales support offices nationwide.
