    TransCore will add StarTrak's ReeferTrak RT-6000 to the portfolio of satellite communication products it offers to North American carriers. Customers will access the full ReeferTrak service directly through StarTrak's wireless network.

    RT-6000 provides refrigeration management features for trailers, trucks, railcars, and containers including reefer status, temperature compliance, remote control, tractor identification, and precision fuel information. Communications are powered by TransCore's GlobalWave satellite communications network and features TransCore's core modem that provides fast response, onboard GPS location data, and reliable/secure communications throughout North and Central America.

    This product is compatible with and certified for every configuration of transport refrigeration unit made by all leading reefer manufacturers and interfaces with StarTrak's RAMP (Refrigerated-Asset Management Platform) Service, which provides users with full visibility, control and alarm features.
