Dot Transportation names 2008 Vendor of Year

Capital City Thermo King/Thermo King Corp has received the Dot Transportation Inc (DTI) 2008 Vendor of the Year Award for providing excellent service and product support.

Capital City Thermo King/Thermo King Corp has received the Dot Transportation Inc (DTI) 2008 Vendor of the Year Award for providing excellent service and product support.

“Not only is their quality and service exceptional,” said Kevin Buss, DTI director of fleet maintenance, “but our drivers are satisfied with their equipment, and Capital City Thermo King is always looking for ways to make service and support even better.”

Capital City Thermo King is the Springfield IL dealership for Thermo King Corp. It provides refrigerated units for DTI’s trailers. A wholly owned subsidiary of Dot Foods Inc, DTI has worked with Capital City for 20 years. DTI provides foodservice, convenience store, retail, vending, and equipment and supplies transportation for 700 of the nation’s top manufacturers to more than 3,600 food distributors in all 50 states.

Customers are served through daily or weekly deliveries on DTI’s multi-temperature tractor-trailer units operating from distribution centers in Mt Sterling IL, Vidalia GA, Modesto CA, Williamsport MD, Liverpool NY, Ardmore OK, Cambridge City IN, and Burley ID.
