XATA Corporation announced that Heyl Truck Lines is installing XATA Navigation, powered by ALK CoPilot Truck, in its trucks enabled with new TREQ color display units (CDUs).

The Akron IA-based company, which specializes in both temperature-controlled and dry commodities, places a strong emphasis on customer service and uses MobileMax by XATA to help run its fleet more efficiently.

XATA Navigation provides Heyl drivers with spoken, turn-by-turn directions, as well as with way points for fuel stops. Leveraging the TREQ CDU will also enable spoken messages to drivers, allowing them to keep their eyes on the road for increased safety. Additionally, if a driver misses a turn, XATA Navigation will immediately reroute them, without the need to download new instructions from a server.
