Tyson Foods salutes 18 Premier Carriers

Tyson Foods Inc has named 18 of its vendor carriers as “Premier Carriers of the Year” for 2012. This is the first year the company has selected carriers for the honor.

Tyson Foods Inc has named 18 of its vendor carriers as “Premier Carriers of the Year” for 2012. This is the first year the company has selected carriers for the honor.

“Each of these carriers have shown Tyson Foods that we are a valued customer,” said Bryan McDuffie, director of outside transportation. “We’re fortunate to have good working relationships with carriers that understand our business and place a premium on service, not only to us, but also to our customers.”

Select carriers were recognized for their continued commitment to Tyson Foods in several areas: service, communication, safety, innovation, and for being environmentally conscious. Tyson Foods has relationships with more than 100 carriers.
