With fleets and transportation service providers around North America continuing to invest in technology to improve their business efficiencies, TMW Systems Inc. announced the company finished 2008 by adding more than 160 new customers across its expanded product lines.

“Our success demonstrates that a diversified TMW is meeting varying needs throughout the transportation services industry. It's one of the reasons our year ended with a 30 percent increase in fuel purchase optimization licensing and a 20 percent increase in the number of new asset maintenance customers,” said David W. Wangler, president and chief executive officer.

The TMW portfolio is comprised of three enterprise transportation software offerings, TMWSuite, TL2000, and TruckMate; along with TMW Asset Maintenance software, namely TMT Fleet Maintenance and TMT ServiceCenter; and TMW Optimization software including IDSC ExpertFuel, IDSC Netwise, IDSC Supply Chain, and IDSC TripAlert.
