Penske Truck Rental has introduced a new mobile website that enables users to make truck rental reservations from virtually any smartphone.

Penske Truck Rental has introduced a new mobile website at http://m.pensketruckrental.com that enables users to make truck rental reservations from virtually any smartphone.

When Penske customers access PenskeTruckRental.com from their smartphones, the site automatically becomes a mobile version resulting in an easy-to-use online experience.

“The number of mobile visitors to our consumer truck rental website has tripled in the last year,” said Brandie Searle, director–interactive marketing, Penske Truck Leasing. “With smartphone ownership more than doubling in the last two years, the time was right to introduce a mobile version.”

Penske customized the design of its new mobile website to include larger navigational items, simple icons, and minimal text to simplify making truck rental reservations. The new mobile website also enables users to quickly find convenient Penske Truck Rental locations or even contact its 24/7/365 roadside assistance center while moving.

Penske engaged Acquity Group, a multi-channel commerce and digital marketing firm based in Chicago IL, to complete the design and front-end development of its mobile site.

Penske Truck Rental is a service of Penske Truck Leasing Co LP, which is headquartered in Reading PA and is a joint venture of Penske Corporation, Penske Automotive Group, and General Electric. To learn more, visit www.GoPenske.com and the “Move Ahead” blog.
