McLane unit will supply Panda Restaurant Group

Panda Restaurant Group Inc (PRG) has selected McLane Foodservice, a division of McLane Company Inc, to supply food distribution services through its Phoenix AZ and Arlington TX facilities to more than 200 Panda stores in those regions.

Panda Restaurant Group Inc (PRG) has selected McLane Foodservice, a division of McLane Company Inc, to supply food distribution services through its Phoenix AZ and Arlington TX facilities to more than 200 Panda stores in those regions.

The supply chain services McLane is providing Panda include logistics, procurement, and inventory management systems. Distribution for these areas began August 10, 2009, accommodating 202 Panda Express restaurants and five Hibachi-San restaurants. PRG has about 1,300 restaurants in 38 US states and Puerto Rico.
